| TLC Animal Hospital has been serving the Boca community since 1988. It was originally established by Dr. Ralph McGoveney, a graduate of Michigan State University. In February of 2004 Dr. McGoveney retired and Dr. Andrew Dooley took over the directorship of TLC Animal Hospital. |

Dr. Dooley is a graduate of Mississippi State University in 2001. He then worked under Dr. Ray Rudd, a Board Certified surgeon in Atlanta, Georgia until 2003 when he joined the South Florida Community. He was awarded the Best Vet award in City Link's Best of Boca 2004 and continues to strive to maintain the high level of care and compassion instilled here at TLC established by his predecessor. |

Dr. Michele Travers is a 1993 graduate of Auburn University College of Veterinary Medicine. After practicing in the Boca Raton area for several years she achieved her Advanced Board Certification by the American Board of Veterinary Practitioners in canine and feline medicine. Her special interests include dermatology and internal medicine with additional expertise in advanced pain management. We welcome her to our family in December of 2006. |

Dr. Sharon Browning, our most recent addition, is a graduate of The Tuskegee Institute in Alabama. She has given South Florida almost 3 decades of dedication. She established Academy Animal Hospital of Hillsboro and we were proud to have added her expertise and compassion to TLC in January of 2008. |

Dr. Jon-Paul Carew , Bachelor of Science Degree from FAU in Marine Biology , attended Veterinary School at Ross University and his clinical year was completed at University of Georgia.
Dr. Jon-Paul Carew was born in Long Island, New York and grew up in Coral Springs, Florida. Jon-Paul has been practicing in South Florida since October 2001. He joined the staff of TLC Animal Hospital in April 2011. He enjoys all aspects of Veterinary medicine including surgery and exotic medicine. He has a special interest in pain management and anesthesia.
On his free time he enjoys scuba diving, surfing, travelling, restoring classic cars and his two Jack Russell Terriers (Tiny and Royal). |

Practice Office Manager.
Originally from Harpswell, Maine, she started working at TLC in 1999 with Dr. McGoveny as a receptionist. In 2002 she became our office manager. She has a life long love for animals and enjoys coming to her job everyday. |

Head Technician.
She has been working in the Veterinary Healthcare field since taking a leave of absence from University of Miami, Rosenstiel School of Marine and Atmospheric science, in 1997. She has acquired a great deal of technical and practical experience in all areas of the veterinary hospital during this time and is currently the head technician at TLC animal hospital. She is in school at FAU, and currently has 7 cats. |

Desk Supervisor.
Christine has many years in the veterinary field and is committed to providing great customer care to all of our valued clients here at TLC. She lives with her family and their Aussie Shepherd. She joined the TLC family in January 2010. |

Technician.
She was born in Michigan, and moved to Florida in 1968. Growing up on a farm,
she developed a love for animals. She has cared for cows, horses, dogs, cats, birds, and a monkey. She has 2 standard poodles, 2 cats, and a bird. She joined TLC to work with Dr. Mcgovney in 1986. Working with Dr. Dooley and the other doctors of TLC is an exciting experience every day. She is in charge of our new day care and boarding area, which is an exciting way to work with our clients pets, giving them the special care they need. |

Technician, Groomer, Dog Trainer. Laser Treatments.
Susi was born and raised in Germany, she grew up with animals and loves them with all of her heart. She moved to Florida in 1995, at that time she started to show and train dogs. She is an APDT member and worked with the top trainers of this country, such as Karen Pryor, Ian Dunbar, Thad Lacinak, and Chuck Tompkins (who are the head trainers of Sea World). She has been a technician/kennel manager since 1999 and and started grooming in 2004. She joined the TLC team in 2007 and absolutely loves to work with such great people. |

Technician.
She was born and raised in Boca Raton. She has been around animals for as long as she can remember. She has been with TLC since 2003 and loves every minute of it. She is one of the technicians, but she also has done, and can do, reception and kennel. Last year she got the pleasure of becoming Dr. Dooley's surgery technician. Her daughter love's coming here as well and already says she wants to be a vet when she grows up. She really loves what she does and enjoys it. |

Technician, Groomer.
She began her career working in pet shops and boarding kennels. After grooming school she was a professional dog groomer for about 30 years. She started learning to be a vet technician when she joined TLC in 2004. Now that TLC has expanded she also does part time grooming. She still enjoys this type of job and loves the work environment here at TLC. |

She has been working as a vet tech for almost 2 years now. She is starting her third year at FAU as a Pre-Vet student. She has 3 dogs, a Pitbull named Ginger and just got two new additions to the family: Samson is an old shepard mix and Delilah is a old brindle pitbull. She loves her three babies and she loves working with animals. She enjoys working at TLC animal hospital as a vet tech and is proud to be a part of the TLC legacy. |

Certified Veterinary Technician.
Alex has been a Vet tech since 1999. He has a history of working with cases that involve ER/ Critical care, Opthamology, and General practice. He is a licensed Vet tech that graduated from Miami Dade College in May 2008. He recently joined the TLC team and does the laser therapy treatments. |

Just recently moved back to Florida from North Carolina where she started her career as a vet tech. She currently resides with 3 dogs; Raven, Midori and Buzz. She recently joined the TLC team as a technician and enjoys working with the doctors and staff here. |

Reception.
Marin was born and raised in south Florida and received her bachelors degree from FAU with a major in fine art. She joined TLC in July 2009 and enjoys working at the front desk, greeting all of the animals and their owners on a daily basis.
She has a snake, one cat, and a tank full of fish at home. |

Stephanie joined the TLC team in May of 2010. Originally working in the kennel, you will now find her at the front desk or caring for your pet as a technician. Before working at TLC she worked several years in the doggy daycare field.
When not at home spending time with her rescued terrier mix you may find her photographing concerts or other events in the south Florida area. |

Kennel Manager.
Natalee recently moved to south Florida from Ohio with her two year old staffordshire, Bruiser. She is familiar with many aspects of vet clinics, working as an assistant kennel manager and groomer in the past. She also has experience breeding reptiles and canines.
She is new to day care but loves learning and excited to hear ideas to ensure a fun-filled day for your pet. She joined the TLC family in May of 2011. |

Mike has been working at TLC since 2009. Currently, he is attending FAU with the aspiration of obtaining his degree in business administration. He owns two dogs and four cats, and thoroughly enjoys working with all the animals here at TLC.
He is now a technician in training and also ensures all of our boarders and daycare attendees are right at home during their stays with us. |

Ashley was born and raised in south Florida. She has been a technician for seven years, starting at Palm Beach Equine in Wellington before moving to small animal practices. She lives with her fiancee, daughter, and her rescued catahoula, Kahlua. She joined TLC in February 2010.
